The formation and the story of the church from Isaszeg

The Horvaths were the first ones who moved to Isaszeg. They convinced a lot of other families to move here. They told everyone how great it is to live here and how friendships can be made easily. Fellow Horvath remembers: Our house was standing at the end of the village. The field behind it was devided into parts and outher houses were placed there. After we convinced our friends to move. Now we had many fellows living with us. However everyone belonged to different communities. As a mechanic and contractor I met many people. Although I was praying for them; but it never crossed my mind that there can be a church. As time past by, my two daughters got married and the community was getting bigger and bigger. One Friday night I informed my family about the field that I found which would be perfect for the church. We started to organize the preparation for the constructions, we received a phone call from the bureau about a land which could be given to us. I showed the place to my fellows and they liked it, so we purchased it.  In 1997 we started to negotiate  the preparations. One fellow had the idea about buying a new land next to the old one. So the building operations started in 1998. A Bible quotation appeared to my mind about how the church should look like : Aggeus prophet 1:8   

„Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.”

Thanks to our friends, families and the community without them it wouldn’t be finished in four and a half year.

It  started at 1998. and was finished in 2002.

The institution started in 28. oktober. 2000. with 33 adults and with 14 children.

In 20. december. 2003. was the first baptism. But we also had new borned babyes, celebrations, travelings and many outher things.

Right now we have 49 members in our community and also we have a choir with 25 members and a man-choir with 15 members. A smaller and a junior group of children.

The 98% of our church is becoming from Transilvania and outher parts of Romania.

Our church has 150 seets. The basement has separated rooms for the children, kitchen and toilets also.

And on the facade of the building the following sign can be seen:

„Fear God, and give glory to him!”
